In this guide, you’ll learn how to install and use DNG presets in Lightroom Mobile. DNG presets are made for the free version of Lightroom Mobile.
Note: This guide is for the free version of Lightroom Mobile. If you have a paid subscription to Lightroom, please follow our Native Presets guide.
Step 1
Download the LR Mobile zip file on your phone or tablet. Select all of the DNG presets and extract them to your device.
Note: Most new devices are preinstalled with apps that can extract zip files. If not, we recommend installing these apps:
- Android Devices: Google Files
- iOS Devices: Documents by Readdle
Step 2
Open Lightroom Mobile.
It’s a good idea to store your DNG presets in their own folder.
Tap the + button then create a new Folder. Give the folder a name such as “PRZM Presets”.
Step 3
Tap the “Create Album” button. Use the name of the presets as the album name (ex. Rose Garden).
Step 4
Now let’s add the DNG presets.
Tap the ⋮ button then tap “Add Photos”.
Step 5
Select all the DNG presets then tap the “Add” button.
Step 6
Tap into a preset that you would like to use. Tap the ⋮ button then tap “Copy Settings”.
Step 7
Tap on the “Select” dropdown menu and select “Modified”.
This will ensure that the preset overwrites as few settings as possible.
Step 8
Open the photo that you’d like to apply the preset to.
Tap the ⋮ button then tap “Paste Settings”.
